Landscape Maintenance Positions
Our maintenance crews have the important job of maintaining not only landscapes, but also presenting the everyday face of our organization with regular visits to many of our existing clients. Each of our specialists work together as a team to provide the Landscape Maintenance Services listed below.
Horticultural Specialist
Visit various properties on a regular basis and care for planting beds using a variety of techniques ensuring that seasonal tasks are executed and appearance of property is optimal. Maintain communication between clients, other maintenance personnel and management, regarding property status and services. Assist in the execution of the Landscape Maintenance Services listed above.
Turf Mowing Specialist
Maintain lawns on a regular basis using a variety of power equipment. Utilize different mowing techniques in various areas, preventing damage to turf areas. Assist in the execution of the Landscape Maintenance Services listed above.
Chemical Application Specialist
Safely apply herbicides and fertilizers onto lawns and into planting beds, recognizing weed issues and addressing with proper application and follow up. Assist in the execution of the Landscape Maintenance Services listed above.
Landscape Construction Positions
Landscape Sales and Design
Our sales and design staff members have the important job of first impression and relationship building. They present the positive image of our organization to potential clients, while maintaining that image to existing clients. They are personally responsible for proactively finding and developing leads for sales, scheduling in person appointments, identifying client landscape needs and providing creative solutions that are within their vision and budget. Upon the sale of a landscape, the salesperson manages the project throughout the process. This includes ordering and locating materials, “on site” visits to the project to ensure proper plan execution, daily communication with client to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction, and payment collections for their projects. In addition, members of our sales team maintain regular contact with customers and network via outside organizations to continue building their lead base and the company image in the market.
Sales candidates should possess the following:

Landscape Construction Personnel
Our landscape construction personnel have the exciting and challenging job of bringing landscapes to life. They work closely with designers to ensure proper plan execution, utilizing different construction techniques and materials on landscapes ranging from simple to complex. All members are asked to follow written instructions, while more advanced crew members are asked to review and follow technical drawings.

Snow Removal Personnel
Our snow removal personnel are provided with safe, comfortable, reliable equipment to use while attacking winter’s snow falls. They are available at any time of the day and week to perform winter snow services and take personal responsibility to stay apprised of weather forecasts while maintaining communication with production management.
Internships
Northouse Landscape offers a variety of comprehensive internships that are structured to provide students with a wide breadth of experiences. We encourage students at all grade levels of “green industry” related studies to visit our facility and apply for a summer internship.
