When is the best time for me to begin the design process with NLC?
The best time is now, the sooner you contact us the faster we can begin the process.

How long does the NLC design process take to complete?
Depending upon the time of year, scope of the design and our current work load, our design process can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to a month or more.

Can NLC work from an existing design?
If you have an existing design we would be happy to use it in any way we can. We may make suggestions for changes due to specifics we may notice during our consultation or site visit.

Does NLC accept small jobs?
We accept jobs of any size. Our services range from full design/build to simple renovations and maintenance service.

Where does NLC obtain their nursery stock?
We purchase plant materials from a variety of suppliers within the midwest.

Are my installed nursery items covered by a NLC warranty?
All trees and shrubs are covered by a one year warranty in accordance with the conditions as outlined in our contracts.

Should I seed or sod my new lawn?
Whenever possible, we choose to seed a lawn over sodding, for the results of a seeded lawn are better.

How late can NLC plant?
Generally, we install plants right up until the ground freezes, however availability of some plant material is limited later in the year.
